Senior Mechanical Project Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the planning and execution of project integration and timelines for specific customer initiatives.
  • Oversee a regional team of suppliers and manage all equipment deliveries in collaboration with the customer's construction contractor.
  • Procure equipment while negotiating optimal pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with management to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Forecast project requirements, manage budgets, and track expenditures.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the framework of company policies, clearly articulating these in concise work statements for field teams.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to the Safety Program.
  • Review and approve shop drawings.
  • Supervise the mechanical installation of equipment for the implementation of the company's Mechanical Equipment offerings at data center facilities and heavy industrial sites.
  • Be present on-site during equipment delivery and installation/commissioning phases.
  • Represent the company in project meetings.
Qualifications:
  • 5-12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Proficient in Mechanical / HVAC Systems, including Chillers, HVAC, CRAC, CRAH, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Boilers, and Hot Aisle / Cold Aisle configurations.
  • Experience managing projects involving heavy equipment supply to the construction sector is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in managing HVAC equipment installation projects for Data Centers is essential.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and effective prioritization skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
