Job Title: Processing Clerk

Join the Bob Moore Auto Group team as a Processing Clerk and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Shared Services Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing vehicle transfers, trades, and wholesales, as well as preparing and posting tag reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review all paperwork involved in transferring vehicles, trades, or wholesales to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process all trade payoffs and trade-in paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and post tag reconciliations to ensure accurate records.
  • Prepare and update outstanding titles report regularly, including follow-up on unresolved required documents.
  • Prepare all necessary paperwork for loaner/rental units and courtesy deliveries.
  • Assist in handling customer calls regarding title work and products sold in the F&I department.
  • Receive and track all outstanding deals from the dealership.
  • Review 100% of documents for accuracy, including customer, lienholder, manufacturer, county, and financial information.
  • Prepare and ship lender packages (funding packets).
  • Prepare all title work and lien entry paperwork for retail sales.
  • Prepare outstanding deals list.
  • Provide superior customer service to all customers.
  • Take an active role in both corporate and community activities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous automotive accounting experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company-owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to type, ten key, and knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Consistency and thoroughness.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects.
  • Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
  • Experience handling high volume of paperwork for multiple internal and external customers.
  • Strong mathematical/analytical skills.
  • Produce high-quality work while under deadline pressure.
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Ability to set a positive example for others by consistently displaying servant leadership behaviors in daily actions and decisions.
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
  • The physical demands of the job include the use of hands and fingers, reaching, bending, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and driving.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
  • Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol urinalysis and be able to drive a vehicle.
Working Conditions:
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Travel Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to travel within or outside the area. Travel for this position is infrequent.
