Certified Nursing Assistant/Mental Health Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant/Mental Health Technician to join our team at Mesilla Valley Hospital. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide therapeutic support and care to patients, working closely with experienced CNAs/MHTs and nurses to create a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to patients, including assistance with daily living activities and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health care.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and customer service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
- One year of experience in a behavioral health facility or related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license with no DWI/DUI violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
