About the Role

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker Associate I to join our team. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' financial goals and objectives, and provide personalized recommendations to help them achieve those goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on our full range of retail banking products and services, and use that knowledge to identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell to our customers.
  • Sales and Referral: Utilize our consultative sales process to proactively identify and meet the financial needs of our customers, and refer them to other areas of the bank as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of our retail banking team to achieve sales and customer service goals, and provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a retail banking or sales role, preferably in a financial services industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
