About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Custody Operations Specialist at Bank of China Limited, New York Branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) by gathering business requirements, executing test cases, and documenting errors or issues encountered.
  • Assist in preparing business and risk management reports, contributing to the analysis of new regulatory requirements.
  • Provide operational support by processing securities trades, settlements, and other custody-related transactions as needed.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve UAT issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear and concise functional requirements.
  • Document and report errors encountered during testing, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of issues.
  • Track and monitor the resolution of reported errors, providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress.
  • Analyze trends in reported errors to identify areas for process improvement or system enhancement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, risk management, information technology, or related fields.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in financial services or related industry.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and custody operations is a plus.
  • Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management (e.g., CBAP, PMP) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese (speaking, reading, and writing) is preferred.
What We Offer

Competitive salary range: $42,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with candidate's relevant years of experience, skillset, education, and other qualifications.
