Key Responsibilities- Perform licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on light and medium-duty vehicles
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
- Work with the service writer to assess customer needs and provide information or assistance to resolve their problems
- Manage concurrent assigned tasks and make effective judgments as to prioritizing work-related activities and time allocations
- Act with integrity, demonstrate honesty, and keep commitments
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field
- Valid driver's license required
- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment or within 72 hours of hire
- Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties
- ASE T8 (PMI) certification
- ASE T3 (Drivetrain) certification
- ASE T4 (Brakes) certification
- ASE T5 (Suspension) certification
- ASE T6 (Electrical and Electronic Systems) certification
- ASE T7 (HVAC) certification
- ASE 608/609 certification
