Sanitation Operator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Operator to join our team at our Denver, CO milk plant. As a Sanitation Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance are maintained in our production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sanitize and maintain production equipment to ensure quality food products are produced.
  • Organize and maintain cleaning tools and chemicals in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform daily sanitation tasks and record reasons for any uncompleted tasks.
  • Assist in maintaining a 5-S rating of an "A" in the plant/warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sanitation Lead and fellow team members to ensure a positive working relationship.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous food manufacturing and/or machine operator experience preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and lubricate equipment.
  • Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out and ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
