Job Title: Direct Support Professional

At Resources for Human Development, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with behavioral health histories to develop healthy and socially acceptable behaviors while living in community-based sites.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision and support to individuals in accordance with their person-centered ISP, helping them work towards outcomes identified in their support plans.
  • Complete required documentation, including administering medication as needed.
  • Provide transportation to consumers and support them in activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, toileting, and hygiene.
  • Assist in community integration activities and access to community supports, including medical appointments and social security access.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

This is a part-time position, working Saturdays from 7am-3pm and Sundays from 3pm-11pm. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.50.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Basic computer and internet literacy, with the ability to use applications like emails and time recording software.
  • Prior experience in the human services field is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Subject to employment screenings, including FBI clearance if applicable.
