Job Title: Clinical Engineering Sr. Equipment Specialist

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineering Sr. Equipment Specialist to join our team in Wilmington, DE.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and installation support on various mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic units. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on high-risk critical medical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, or refurbish standard and special-purpose equipment and systems components.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned to ensure effective planning, utilization, and required paperwork completion.
  • Develop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers and managers.
  • Communicate activities, including scheduling of preventive maintenance and estimated time for unscheduled work.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field, plus relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of five years of experience as an alternative qualification.
  • 5 years or more of preferred experience in Steris equipment PM and repair, Radiology/Imaging experience required.
