We are seeking a highly motivated Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Center for Accessible Resources (CAR). As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in facilitating access and full inclusion of students with disabilities into the college environment.

About the Role
  • Provide administrative support to the CAR team, ensuring seamless daily operations and efficient communication with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Assist with revising and designing departmental materials, campus events, and community outreach projects that promote universal design and inclusive environments.
  • Gather information, compile data, and track student interactions, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to FERPA standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective solutions, utilizing problem-solving skills and active listening techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Office Management, Human Services, or a related field; 2 years of experience in general office work, including public contact and database management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems; knowledge of ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
