Virtual Education Specialist for K-12 Students with Learning Differences

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Education Specialist to deliver high-quality instruction to students with diverse learning needs across K-12 grades. This role involves creating engaging virtual learning experiences while providing specialized support to students with various learning differences and exceptionalities.
Job Overview:As a remote Virtual Education Specialist, you will work closely with families and educational professionals to promote student success. Your expertise in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and delivering specialized instruction via virtual platforms is essential for our students' academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver high-quality virtual instruction using multiple learning management systems
- Track and document student progress and achievements
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure seamless transitions between virtual and traditional learning environments
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians through virtual meetings and progress updates
- Modify curriculum to accommodate digital learning environments and engage students with assistive technology
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, along with a valid Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement. A minimum of 2 years of school-based teaching experience, strong digital literacy, and excellent virtual communication skills are also required.
Estimated Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
