Job Title: Senior Linux Engineer

Description: Omni Inclusive seeks a seasoned Senior Linux Engineer to enhance our team's capabilities. As a key member, you will work closely with our experts to create customized software/application stacks for new workstation hardware, configure advanced network settings, and develop unattended 'bare metal' workstation network builds.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of RHEL 8 and 9, KickStart, Shell Scripting, Anaconda, and networking fundamentals. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring seamless integration of custom software/application stacks and network configurations.

A competitive salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 per annum, dependent on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and professional development opportunities, makes this an attractive opportunity for professionals seeking challenging roles in enterprise Linux solutions.

Responsibilities include:
  • Designing and implementing custom software/application stacks for new workstation hardware.
  • Configuring UEFI, BOOTP, DHCP, TFTP, and HTTPD settings for network builds.
  • Developing and maintaining KickStart files for zero-touch unattended 'bare metal' workstation network builds.


Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in building hardened images using RHEL 8 and 9.
  • In-depth knowledge of KickStart, Shell Scripting, Anaconda, and networking fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
