About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation in Sunnyvale, CA. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux-based systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement secure and scalable Linux-based systems infrastructure* Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration* Develop and maintain technical documentation* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices* Maintain operational systems including patching, security hardening, PKI infrastructure, and build/deployment of new servers for upgrades and recaps.Requirements

  • Experience with troubleshooting and researching server failures and anomalies
  • Current CompTIA Security+ or (ISC)2 CISSP certification
  • Current experience with Linux (any distribution, Red Hat preferred)
  • Experience with at least one of Free IPA, LDAP, or Active Directory
  • Must have an active Top Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
