Job Title: OCONUS Hardware Engineer

At Synergy ECP, we are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team in providing ongoing mission-critical OCONUS field support. This is a new Prime Contract opportunity, and we are actively staffing for this position.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Hardware Engineer to analyze complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions. The successful candidate will provide hardware engineering expertise to analyze complex hardware systems, hardware design, architecture, network design, and other technical hardware issues. The role involves procuring and performing acceptance testing on equipment, providing hardware maintenance support, deploying, installing, and implementing hardware at Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions
  • Provide hardware engineering expertise to analyze complex hardware systems, hardware design, architecture, network design, and other technical hardware issues
  • Procure and perform acceptance testing on equipment
  • Provide hardware maintenance support, both preventative and remedial
  • Deploy, install, and implement hardware at CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Prepare specifications for hardware by analyzing documented and derived system requirements
  • Conduct site surveys
  • Prepare engineering plans and site Technical Design Packages
  • Organize and direct hardware installations
  • Configure and document configuration of computers, networking devices, and various peripheral equipment
  • Prepare site installation and test reports
  • Ensure that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user's requirements
  • Prepare reports and recommendations concerning existing and emerging hardware technologies
Requirements:
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a Hardware Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of additional Hardware Engineer experience on projects with similar scope, type, and complexity may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Desired Capabilities:
  • Experience with antenna and antenna subsystems
  • CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be fully cleared with the appropriate Polygraph
