Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an exciting opportunity in Bradenton, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing for surgical procedures, assisting the surgeon, and ensuring the sterilization of surgical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgical team in procedures by preparing instruments and equipment.
  • Ensure the sterilization of surgical equipment and assemble case carts for scheduled and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
  • Work closely with surgeons and other operating room staff to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalency required.
  • NBSTSA certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • 2 years of CST experience in an operating room setting required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
