Overview

Amedisys is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state of assignment.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum.
  • Current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.
