Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize the dining area in accordance with Terranea's standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
  • Set up essential items such as trash receptacles, beverages, and dining utensils at the beginning of each shift.
  • Ensure that all workspaces, including dishware and glassware, are kept clean and orderly throughout service.
  • Respond to guest requests for specific setups, such as heat lamps or umbrellas.
  • Complete end-of-shift tasks, including restocking supplies and securing the dining area.
  • Present a polished and professional appearance in line with company standards.
  • Proactively address and fulfill guest service needs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests using clear and professional language.
  • Adhere to quality standards and expectations consistently.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests with attention to detail.
  • Prepare tables according to established service protocols.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests in alignment with company standards.
  • Assist in food delivery and table clearing as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Follow departmental policies and procedures diligently.
  • Communicate effectively with all staff members, including management and front-of-house personnel.
  • Maintain cleanliness in both personal work areas and the broader restaurant environment.
  • Adhere to grooming and uniform standards as outlined by company policy.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of fine dining practices.
  • Energetic and motivated individual with a passion for service.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend effectively.
  • Capability to implement and maintain service standards.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Able to interact positively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Skilled in multitasking.

Experience and Availability:

  • Preferred experience in fine dining settings.
  • Open availability is essential.

Compensation:
Starting base pay of $16 per hour, plus tips.
