Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modeling Specialist to join our team at STV. As a key member of our Water and Wastewater Hydraulic Modeling Team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing hydraulic modeling analysis and design on multiple projects with many complex features.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in hydraulic analysis and design. Experience with software such as InfoWorks ICM, InfoWater, or other similar programs is essential. Additionally, excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to prepare and deliver client presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and direct hydraulic modeling analysis and design on multiple projects with many complex features.
  • Interact with project clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Lead collection system hydraulic modeling projects and programs, with preference given to experience as model manager for large consent decree and wet weather-related programs for CSO and SSO reductions.
  • Develop and mentor less experienced staff members.
  • Perform hydraulic analyses, prepare hydraulic models, evaluate results, and summarize results and recommendations to produce technical memorandums, master plan studies, conveyance analysis, storage analysis, and other water system improvement analyses.
