Position Summary:
The Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the service of food and drinks to patrons at various concession points, bars, and mobile service areas within the venue.
The Supervisor will collaborate with the Director of Concessions and the OVG leadership team on various initiatives, including staff training, inventory management, and event coordination.
Consistent attendance is essential, and availability for scheduled events is required.Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $16 to $19.00.
Part-Time Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all concession areas are properly prepared before opening.
Preparation Duties Include:
verifying initial inventory, assigning tasks to staff (employees/volunteers), ensuring compliance with sanitation standards, confirming operational readiness of each location, and assessing food production levels based on expected guest turnout.
Provide comprehensive oversight and operational guidance to ensure seamless, efficient, and profitable event execution.Conduct training for new and existing staff regarding company policies and best practices.
Be prepared to fill in for any vacant positions to guarantee operational efficiency and adherence to service speed and guest satisfaction standards; assist with Premium Services operations and event requirements as needed.
Maintain a safe and respectful work environment, addressing any safety concerns or potential hazards immediately. Report any safety or health issues to management without delay.
Develop a thorough understanding of all concession locations, including layout, equipment, emergency procedures, and access points for employees and guests.
Assist in taking guest orders and communicating them to the kitchen via the point-of-sale system.
Monitor guests to address additional requests and determine when meals are complete.
Advise guests on menu items and clarify preparation methods as needed.
Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas.
Demonstrate a commitment to excellent attendance as per company standards.
Ensure that all equipment at the location is functional and clean prior to event commencement.
Identify guests who may be over-intoxicated and take appropriate action to discontinue alcohol service to those individuals.
Enforce all company policies and procedures.
Exhibit strong human resources skills in employee relations, corrective actions, coaching, and counseling, completing all necessary HR documentation.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a food and beverage setting.
Ability to oversee the work of others effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with employees, volunteers, management, and guests in a professional and respectful manner, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.
Able to excel in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven atmosphere.
Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit as required by applicable regulations.
Capability to perform basic mathematical calculations related to point-of-sale transactions and inventory management.
