Roadway Safety Professional

Rivers Safety is seeking a Roadway Safety Professional to join our team in the Martinsville, VA area. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of traffic around construction sites, using Department of Transportation regulations to direct traffic flow.
Job Description:This role involves working with our construction team to establish and maintain safe traffic zones, flagging motorists to warn them of obstacles or repair work ahead, setting up and removing temporary work zones, and driving company vehicles to and from job sites safely.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with construction team to establish and maintain safe traffic zones
- Direct traffic flow using Department of Transportation regulations
- Flag motorists to warn them of obstacles or repair work ahead
- Drive company vehicle to and from job sites safely
- At least 18 years old
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Traffic Control Certification or willingness to obtain
- $16.00 - $20.00 per hour salary
