Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Build, rebuild, and repair all parts of company equipment, including heavy trucks and forklifts.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and other breakdowns or failures to motor trucks and related equipment.
  • Instrumentation and Calibration: Read precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, voltmeters, digital multimeters, calibrators, and other electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Failure Analysis: Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of component parts and systems on trucks, trailers, and converter dollies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Apply knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1 year of truck repair experience preferred.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of most systems located on a truck or truck tractor, semi-trailer.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in extremely hot or cold climates.
  • Instrumentation: Ability to read precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, voltmeters, digital multimeters, calibrators, and other electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Failure Analysis: Ability to troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of component parts and systems on trucks, trailers, and converter dollies.
