Enterprise Account Strategist

As a key member of our team, you will drive direct sales engagements into Fortune 1000 major accounts and strategic partners. Your focus will be on creating and implementing strategic account plans to attain enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services.
Developing executive relationships with key buyers and influencers, you will leverage these during the sales process. You will also coordinate with internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work.
Your responsibilities will include generating enterprise business opportunities and managing the sales process through to closure of the sale. Key performance indicators will include achievement of agreed quarterly sales goals, generating a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecasting pipeline.
Minimum 5-8 years of sales experience selling to Fortune 1000 major accounts is required. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience selling enterprise network security products and services. Proven ability to sell solutions to Fortune 1000 accounts is essential, as is excellent presentation skills to executives and individual contributors.
The Major Account Manager, Enterprise, is required to spend more than 50% of their time outside of their office or home office engaged in selling, including travel as needed to make a sale. A BS or equivalent experience is required, with a graduate degree preferred.
Fortinet offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time. On-target earnings for this position are expected to be $220,000 - $280,000 per year. All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, and this position is also eligible for commissions based on the terms of the Sales Compensation Plan.
