At Royal Electric Company, we are seeking a highly experienced Safety Director to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, with a proven track record of advancing safety cultures and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advance the company safety culture through influence and key relationships
  • Build trust with field employees and collaborate with superintendents to anticipate upcoming project needs
  • Create strategies with PX's/VP's to continuously improve safety culture and implement new initiatives
  • Ensure safety policies are a valuable resource to field operations and provide training to field teams
  • Promote safety department collaboration with field operations and participate in job startup meetings
  • Proactively provide training for the safety department and ensure safety team is assessing current certifications

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of OSHA and other safety regulations, as well as experience with health and safety management systems. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience in a safety manager or director level role
  • Education: High school diploma minimum, bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, safety engineering or related field preferred
  • Certifications and licenses: STSC, SHST, ASP, CSP
