Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency telephone calls and provide assessment, information, and management advice on toxicology and poisoning cases.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure effective management of poisoning cases.
- Participate in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and professional organizations.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of toxicology and pharmacology to provide expert advice and guidance.
- Pharm.D. degree and CA licensed pharmacist in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinically-oriented pharmacy practice or 2 years prior Poison Control Center experience.
- Excellent drug information skills and knowledge of pharmacology, toxicology, physical chemistry, and pathophysiology.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.
