Job Summary

The Assistant Lending Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the lending division at Helm Bank USA. This position involves overseeing the processing and closing of commercial loan products, including CRE, CD Loans, Lines of Credit, and Renewals. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and performing various functions in connection with filing HMDA reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Commercial Loan Processing and Closing: Process and close all commercial loan products, including CRE, CD Loans, Lines of Credit, and Renewals.
  2. HMDA Reporting: Responsible for HMDA reporting in Encompass and in HMDA Wiz system.
  3. File Management: Ensure files are sent on a timely basis to booking.
  4. Loan Administration: Complete all commercial loan products LAR and process cancellations and denials of all commercial loan products.
  5. Team Support: Support the processing and closing team with daily tasks.
  6. Special Projects: Assist in special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Business related field.
  • Experience: Five years of mortgage experience, customer service, and general banking experience.
  • Language: Bilingual in both English and Spanish.
  • Skills: Basic Computer Skills, Advanced Skills with Microsoft Office, Mathematical Skills, Customer/Client Focus, Credibility, Problem Solving/Analysis, Teamwork Orientation, Initiative, Stress Management, Organizational Skills, Technical Capacity, Effective communicator, Adaptability.
Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
