As a Production Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing, guiding, and training personnel on the production line, ensuring that productivity and efficiency standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) among all team members.
  • Organize and manage line setups and transitions between different production tasks.
  • Provide clear instructions to team members on the proper methods for replenishing production components.
  • Communicate and enforce correct procedures for handling, counting, and refurbishing production materials.
  • Oversee the processes for palletizing and organizing finished goods.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of product quality requirements and ensure adherence to these standards.
  • Complete and submit all necessary documentation related to the supervisory role accurately.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for workflow optimization.
  • Train new team members on their responsibilities and expected performance.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure that productivity, efficiency, and quality benchmarks are achieved.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and improvements.
  • Ensure that line clearances are executed properly at the end of each production run.
  • Coordinate start-up quality checks at the beginning of new production jobs.
  • Set up designated equipment promptly as per management directives.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proof of identity and authorization to work in the U.S. is necessary.
  • Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking) are essential.

Job Competencies

  • Ability to clearly communicate expectations for all production roles.
  • Knowledge of the correct methods for assembling packaging components.
  • Skill in identifying and reporting quality issues with finished products and components.
  • Capability to read and interpret Job Traveler Sheets.
  • Demonstrated reliability through consistent attendance.
