Outbound Supervisor Job Description

Radial is seeking a highly skilled Outbound Supervisor to join our team. As an Outbound Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring a team of associates meets safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of direct reports and execute on productivity and daily goals through the Radial Operating Model.
  • Ensure all Minesweep Powerwalks are completed on a weekly basis and maintain compliance with company and federally mandated regulations regarding Safety, OSHA, HazMat, and DOT.
  • Responsible for associate-level safety, quality, and productivity performance, solving and responding to daily issues, and planning and coordinating shift activities to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Assist the Manager in planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift directives to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality are met for all outbound-related activities.
  • Ensure all shift personnel receive proper training, skill development, and assessment per company guidelines and recommend and implement improvement efficiencies and effectiveness of employees for increased shift contribution.
  • Interact with peers and related staff across all departments on the implementation of fulfillment strategies and implement specific objectives and performance measures for all shift personnel to maximize productivity.
  • Lead fulfillment special projects as needed and account for achieving production objectives, monitoring all production and personnel statistics, and reporting in support of the department's operation.
  • Reinforce policy and procedure compliance, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective action as appropriate.
  • Participate in the recruiting and selection process, manage temporary workforce, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3+ years of supervisory experience demonstrating progressive growth.
  • Experience in outbound is highly preferred, with a background in high-volume 3PL (pick/pack/ship), distribution, or warehousing.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team of 100+ associates and experience with WMS and automation.
