Primary Care Physician Opportunities in Southern Indiana

NORTON COMMUNITY MEDICAL ASSOCIATES, the primary care division of Norton Medical Group, is actively seeking primary care physicians to enhance its team of over 350 healthcare professionals specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and urgent care.

Our practices span from urban to rural settings, accommodating various practice sizes and diverse patient populations. At Norton Community Medical Associates, you will have the chance to practice primary care in an environment that aligns with your professional aspirations while remaining connected to the region's premier healthcare provider, Norton Healthcare. We operate 36 locations and a mobile unit throughout the Greater Louisville area, including Southern Indiana and its neighboring communities.

This position offers a competitive compensation package that includes a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and an option for a production bonus. Additionally, we provide up to $100,000 in reimbursement for candidates transitioning from residency and a $60,000 retention bonus for experienced physicians relocating to the area.

Norton Medical Group, part of Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky, is expanding to address the healthcare needs of residents in Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana. As the largest network of employed medical providers in the region, Norton Medical Group operates a successful employment model that supports the business aspects of its practices, allowing physicians to concentrate on delivering high-quality patient care.

Position Highlights:

  • Compensation structure based on work relative value unit (wRVU) productivity along with a value-based incentive plan focused on quality and patient experience.
  • Flexibility to work either full-time or part-time (four days/32 hours) in an outpatient-only environment.
  • Hospitalist coverage is available for patients through a network of over 90 physicians and more than 30 advanced practice providers.
  • Continuing medical education (CME) opportunities are available within Norton Healthcare, with funds allocated for additional CME.
  • Norton Medical Group provides each office with a multifunctional team, led by a practice manager, to manage daily operations, including billing, coding, recruitment, and information services, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.
