This role is responsible for day-to-day project management of 1-6 concurrent engagements, including project planning, execution of engagement objectives, and daily interaction with client personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise teams of 1-6 staff members on multiple concurrent engagements
  • Ensure staff receive feedback, direction, and resources as needed
  • Perform initial review of Senior Associate and Associate workpapers
  • Have a thorough understanding of the client's industry or ability to quickly learn and adapt
  • Advanced understanding of accounting and audit concepts, including internal control theory and internal audit standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA or CPA candidate, CIA, or CIA candidate with years of experience in public accounting
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and IIA
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Thorough understanding of the COSO internal control framework, Internal Audit Standard, and the Sarbanes Oxley Act and related requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience with the oil and gas industry
  • Advanced understanding of financial reporting, transaction cycles, and business processes
  • Ability to mentor and help develop less experienced staff
  • Demonstrate independent thinking and strong decision-making
