Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Therapist to join our team at ABA Effects LLC. As a Registered Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing home-based therapy to children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one, in-home behavioral intervention to clients in accordance with the behavioral treatment plan.
  • Collect and document accurate and timely records of client performance via electronic data collection software.
  • Report on client progress to Case Managers and Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBA) and implement feedback during each therapy session.
  • Actively conduct sessions, moving frequently and constantly repositioning in response to and in anticipation of the client's movements and behaviors.

Requirements

  • Registered Behavioral Technician Certification
  • Passion and enthusiasm for working with children
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. and be active to move frequently throughout session and constantly reposition themselves to respond to the movement and behaviors of the patient
  • Willingness to drive 30-mile radius from office in Alhambra, CA
  • Familiarity with iPads and the Apple ecosystem
  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
  • Pass criminal background test (DOJ/FBI) and tuberculous test
