Position Overview:
As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all facets of cost accounting within our organization. This full-time, permanent position offers a remarkable opportunity for a skilled professional to lead initiatives in financial reporting, inventory oversight, annual budgeting, and financial analysis. Your contributions will be vital in delivering financial insights that drive strategic decisions and support the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Direct and manage the complete cost accounting operations, including inventory assessment, cost evaluation, and margin analysis.

2. Prepare, scrutinize, and present financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to senior leadership.

3. Spearhead the annual budgeting cycle and oversee the organization’s financial projections.

4. Formulate and execute inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce carrying expenses.

5. Conduct regular financial assessments to pinpoint trends, discrepancies, and areas for enhancement.

6. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to discover cost-reduction strategies and operational efficiencies.

7. Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.

8. Provide mentorship and direction to the cost accounting team, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred.

2. At least 5 years of experience in cost accounting.

3. Expertise in financial reporting, inventory management, budgeting, and financial analysis.

4. In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial regulations.

5. Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

6. Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and development.

7. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information clearly and concisely.

8. Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel capabilities.

9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

10. A proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
