About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Logistics Support Specialist to join our team at Wallenius Wilhelmsen. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely movement of vehicles through our vehicle processing center.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as the liaison for Wallenius Wilhelmsen to our customers and carriers, responding to customer service inquiries concerning account activities, priorities, and status of orders
  • Coordinate and verify shipments, vehicle movements, and vehicle inventory
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on assignments, allocations, work orders, and releases to carriers
  • Provides key communications to customers, recommending new procedures and processes to increase productivity, responsiveness to customer needs, and streamline current practices
Requirements
  • Have one year of experience in customer service or inventory control procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, and Outlook
  • Professional and courteous communications to internal and external sources, ability to handle heavy customer contact each day
  • Data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize work independently

This role has an estimated salary range of $47,000-$50,000 per annum, based on location, position, and similar factors.
