Circuit Design Engineer, Avionics Systems Specialist

About the RoleAs a Circuit Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing avionics systems for our flight computers. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to capture electrical schematics, perform analysis, and guide the board layouts. Your expertise will be essential in resolving test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generating, reviewing, and presenting product certification and system-level testing.
Key Responsibilities- Capture electrical schematics and perform analysis to guide board layouts
- Work on a cross-functional team to develop and integrate world-class avionics systems
- Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generate, review, and present product certification and system-level testing
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience with design of digital or analog circuits
- Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis)
- Current DoD interim Secret clearance or higher, thus US Citizenship is required
- Experience on Space and/or Missile Defense Missions
- Experience in electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and Electronics Modeling/Simulation Tools such as SPICE
- Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools
- Experience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tool experience
- Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors, and customers
