Electronics Engineer, Avionics Design, Early-to-Mid Career

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile program, developing cutting-edge avionics systems for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team. As an Avionics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing avionics subsystems, including power distribution and electronic components.
Key Responsibilities- Develop initial avionics subsystem concepts, including Safe Arming and Fuzing Electronics (SAFE)
- Integrate Avionics Package (IAP) software, communication networks, and primary batteries
- Leverage LE2 R&D accomplishments to inform subsystem architecture concepts
- Define requirements and provide a framework for architecture, requirements, and interface development and maintenance
- 5-9 years of professional experience in electronics engineering or a related field
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience with electronic circuit design, electronics components, and modeling/simulation tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, requiring US Citizenship
