Circuit Design Engineer, Avionics Systems, Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Circuit Design Engineer to join our team in the development of sophisticated state-of-the-art Avionics products. As a key member of our Integrated Product Development environment, you will work on the design and development of circuit boards, electrical schematics, and printed wiring board layouts. Your expertise in electronics analysis, worst-case analysis, and failure modes and effects critical analysis will be essential in ensuring the design meets or exceeds mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop circuit board electrical schematics and select components from parts libraries.
- Perform timing and worst-case analysis to ensure design meets or exceeds mission requirements.
- Guide printed wiring board board layout and route.
- Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world-class avionics systems.
- Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review, and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system-level testing.
- Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
- Experience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.
- Experience interacting with peers, management, and government customers.
- Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
- Experience with schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools.
- Experience with PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics simulation tool experience.
- Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).
- Strong hardware and analysis experience.
- Graduate Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Experience with full program life cycle, from concept development through delivery.
