Job Title: Clinical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at On the Mend Occupational Medicine. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our medical providers.

At On the Mend, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality services to our clients. Our practice specializes in Worker's Compensation injuries, employment-related physicals, and drug and alcohol testing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical support to medical staff, including triage, wound care, and administration of vaccines.
  2. Assist with physical examinations, including vital sign measurements and test administration.
  3. Maintain accurate records and paperwork for collections and testing.
  4. Coordinate mailings between clients and On the Mend.
  5. Calibrate medical equipment daily.
  6. Ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of examination rooms.
  7. Order medications and supplies as needed.
  8. Accurately code billing documents.
  9. Collect hazardous waste and arrange for disposal.
  10. Support front desk operations, including answering phones and registering patients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
