Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at AmeriPro Health. Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care according to company protocols and medical director-approved standing orders.
• Maintain ambulance equipment and vehicles to ensure they are clean and in proper working condition.
• Prepare and complete reports, including Patient Care Reports (PCR), billing, exposure reports, incident reports, and daily, weekly, and monthly unit check-offs.
• Ensure unit and crew members adhere to AmeriPro EMS policies, procedures, guidelines, directives, and standards.
• Represent AmeriPro EMS and other team members as an EMS professional.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• State-specific Advanced Emergency Medical Technician certification or licensure in good standing, and current NREMT certification if applicable by state law.
• Current BLS certification, valid state-specific driver's license, and successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English.
• EVOC or equivalent certification, and FEMA IS certs (IS:100; IS:200; IS:800; IS:900).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as an EMT or in a similar medical role.
• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.

Working Environment:

AmeriPro Health is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be exposed to various situations, including inclement weather, potential hazardous conditions, and psychological stressors. You will be required to work irregular schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will also be required to attend meetings, some of which may take place outside of regular working hours.
