Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations at healthcare provider locations to review the quality of medical documentation and adherence to established standards.
  • Document findings from evaluations, offering insights and educational support to healthcare professionals while identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Provide analytical support to drive quality improvement initiatives and health management strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Management team on various specialized projects and clinical research initiatives.
  • Execute additional tasks or studies as required.
  • Facilitate training sessions for internal personnel, healthcare providers, and vendors regarding audit protocols and standards, both remotely and in-person.
  • Act as a primary contact and project coordinator for state-level audits, interpreting audit results.
  • Generate reports as needed to communicate findings.
  • Oversee the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) process for designated audit categories.
  • Conduct follow-up audits to verify that previous issues have been resolved.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse certification.
  • Understanding of managed care concepts.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Proficient in using computers and relevant software applications.
  • Preferred knowledge of URAC accreditation standards and HEDIS metrics.
  • Preferred experience in health management or patient education.
