Position Overview
The Clinical Quality Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to patients. This position is responsible for ensuring that the organization meets its strategic objectives and maintains high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in the continuous improvement of clinical practices to align with organizational goals.
- Ensures effective financial management while delivering high-quality, cost-efficient patient care.
- Utilizes data analysis to monitor clinical outcomes and assess the quality of care against established benchmarks.
- Investigates and implements best practices to enhance patient outcomes and refine clinical protocols in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Compiles and analyzes quality, safety, and financial metrics to evaluate performance, identify trends, and recommend enhancements.
- Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to foster a culture of quality improvement and patient safety.
- Promotes teamwork across departments to elevate the standard of patient care.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
Education - Completion of an accredited nursing program recognized by the nursing board.
Certification - Registered Nurse (RN) license from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
Preferred:
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Experience - A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves light physical activity, including the ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
