Job Description

As an Oncology Trials Coordinator, you will work under the direction of the Senior Director, Clinical Research, to manage a variety of projects, including start-up activities, budget and contract negotiations at investigative sites, and business development activities as they relate to clinical research programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in business development activities, including drafting contract language and negotiating budgets with investigative sites
  • Assisting the Clinical Director in establishing costs used in study budgets and developing strategies for establishing partnerships and business relationships
  • Collaborating with companywide resources in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and business models

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Five (5) years of relevant professional experience working in the field of oncology clinical research and/or communications
  • Management experience along with knowledge of clinical operations and business development, including knowledge of grants, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Experience with accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis
