Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Operative Preparation: Assist in preparing the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
- Instrument Management: Assemble and check both sterile and non-sterile equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
- Patient Care: Assist in preparing patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites, and transporting patients to the operating room.
- Operating Room Support: Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and surgeon assistants, and help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments.
- Post-Operative Care: Assist in transferring patients to the recovery room and clean and restock the operating room.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) certification.
- Experience: 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.
