About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technician PRN to join our team at Muve - West Chester ASC. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operative Preparation: Prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgical procedures, and assist in setting up the operating room with surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Patient Care: Assist in preparing patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites, and help position patients on the operating table.
  • Instrument Management: Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and surgeon assistants, and help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments.
  • Post-Operative Care: Assist in transferring patients to the recovery room, and clean and restock the operating room.
Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
  • Certified or certification pending.
  • 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.
