Job Title: Modeling and Simulation Systems Analyst

Torch Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation Systems Analyst to support system level Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Verification and Validation (V&V) and analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide M&S analytical support for specific test phases in support of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) ground test events.
  • Develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools.
  • Support M&S technical interchange meetings, program reviews, integration and test working groups.
  • Prepare for and support meetings with analyses and reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience with Air and Missile Defense (AMD) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) weapons systems, data analysis, Flight/Ground tests and system modeling & simulation and/or system performance analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences or facilitate group discussions and develop accurate written materials to communicate information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on prescribed schedules.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations.
  • Ability to build solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++.
  • Possess an understanding of requirements management and analysis functions, including crosswalks and traceability between M&S and weapon systems.
  • M&S design, development, integration, and test experience, with broad based knowledge of space, missile and/or launch systems at the component through system level.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of program planning and execution, systems engineering, design processes, weapon system integration, and performance assessment.
