About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of medical services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs, and record information on patient charts.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examinations, draping patients with appropriate coverings and positioning instruments and equipment as needed.
  • Assist doctors by handing over instruments and materials, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and inventorying and ordering medical supplies.
  • Operate x-ray and electrocardiograph (EKG) equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests or schedule patients for further testing.
  • Administer injections or treatments and perform routine laboratory tests.
  • Schedule appointments, receive payments, maintain office and patient records, and complete insurance forms.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned or necessary.
Requirements:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • You must have full command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Good telephone communication skills are essential.
  • You should have knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and clerical functions.
  • A current CPR card, PPD or Chest X-Ray, and Health Certificate may be required (depending on the specific job requirements).
  • A graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, certification preferred, and at least one year of relevant experience are desired.
  • Relevant certification or license may be required.
  • You should be able to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and supervisors, possessing strong communication skills and proficiency in the English language.
  • Computer proficiency is essential.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
