Position Responsibilities:

The Mortgage Manager will oversee the interviewing, underwriting, approval, and closing processes for mortgage loans. This role is pivotal in expanding the Credit Union's mortgage portfolio through strategic partnerships with both internal and external retail entities. You will establish and nurture lending channels while promoting the Credit Union's mortgage and financial services across various networks. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for enhancing existing credit union programs and ensure comprehensive training for both internal staff and external partners.


Qualifications:

Applicants should possess three to five years of relevant experience in a similar role. Previous experience in mortgage lending is preferred. Strong organizational and leadership abilities are essential.


Required Knowledge:

Familiarity with the secondary mortgage market and experience in first and second mortgage lending are necessary. A solid understanding of regulations governing lending practices and products is required, along with knowledge of mortgage lending methodologies.


Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
