Position Summary:

The Mortgage Manager is accountable for the complete mortgage loan process, including interviewing, underwriting, approving, and finalizing mortgage applications. This role focuses on expanding the Credit Union's mortgage portfolio through strategic partnerships with both internal and external retail entities. The manager will establish and nurture lending channels while promoting the Credit Union's mortgage and financial services within various networks. Additionally, the position involves identifying opportunities for enhancing existing programs and ensuring comprehensive training for both internal staff and external partners.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess:

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Preferred background in mortgage lending.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Required Knowledge:

Successful candidates will have:

  • Understanding of the secondary mortgage market and experience with first and second mortgage products.
  • Familiarity with regulations governing lending practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage lending procedures.
Work Schedule:

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
