About the Role

US LBM Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Item File Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's product data in the ERP Item File.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to research and set up product lines accurately, ensuring best practices in operations and minimal disruption to business activities.
  • Play a critical role in setting ERP product data standards and maintaining high data integrity for the business and its customers.
  • Initiate and lead projects to meet business goals, developing processes and best practices to ensure data in systems supports stakeholder needs.
  • Work with business owners to analyze and resolve data challenges, providing expertise and recommendations for solutions.
  • Utilize various tools to analyze, manipulate, and transform data requests, ensuring compliance with ERP standards and stakeholder expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5 years of purchasing, inventory control/management, materials input, or warehousing experience required.
  • Understanding of and experience working in an MDM and/or PIM system required.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL, Snowflake, Access, etc.) a plus.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP Systems a plus.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to navigate and manage ERP systems, especially Epicor products.
  • Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, Project, and Outlook.
  • Must have a moderate level of experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Effectively work in a team environment with the ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Proficiency with data governance/management concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of the building material industry, including parts, material supplies, etc.
  • Knowledge and skill to organize, plan, manage, execute, and evaluate projects.
  • Understanding of stocking, inventory control, and warehousing principles.
