Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the 2E Intensive Care Unit at SSM Health. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain comprehensive patient data to develop a holistic understanding of patient needs and conditions.
  • Analyze and synthesize data to determine diagnoses and develop effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interprofessional teams to identify optimal patient outcomes.
  • Implement care plans, promoting a safe environment and coordinating with patients, families, and teams.
  • Evaluate patient progress and outcomes, contributing to the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and teams, using clinical inquiry and integrating best evidence into practice.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
Work Environment
