About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biometrics Technician to join our team at HeiTech Services, Inc. as a Part Time Biometrics Specialist. As a Biometrics Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the mission of a government program located in your state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the mission of a government program by completing biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
  • Ensure all who enter the Application Support Center (ASC) are approved applicants and visitors while providing both interior and exterior crowd control and assisting the staff in enforcing the rules and policies of the ASCs.
  • Provide front-line customer service as representatives of HeiTech Services, Inc. and on behalf of the United States Government.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
  • Ensure all who enter the ASC are approved applicants and visitors while providing both interior and exterior crowd control and assisting the staff in enforcing the rules and policies of the ASCs.
  • Provide front-line customer service as representatives of HeiTech Services, Inc. and on behalf of the United States Government.
Highlights of Responsibilities
  • Provide applicants with the highest level of customer service, displaying a cheerful and inviting demeanor, smiling, managing applicants with sensitivity, courtesy, and ensuring applicants are treated with respect as customers of the USCIS ASC.
  • Safeguard all areas where Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is vulnerable, such as applicant's paperwork and identifications, electronic biometric data, and reports.
Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued suitability clearance.
  • Must be able to speak and write in English.
  • Ability to stand upright on one's feet for scheduled shift duration, excluding meals and breaks.
  • Ability to hold and grasp applicant's hands to obtain quality fingerprints.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with the public.
  • Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
  • Successful completion of the biometrics training and become certified within sixty days.
Minimum Education and Experience Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience needed as all required job training will be provided.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service.
Desired Skills
  • Ability to speak a foreign language.
