Join Our Team as a Pediatric Neurologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Neurologist to join our team at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to children and families in our community.

About the Position

This is a full-time, open rank clinical faculty position on the fixed term track with the option of part-time focusing on reading EEG studies, supervising APPs in outpatient clinic, and performing outpatient sleep clinics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in interpreting EEGs, managing high prevalence neurologic conditions in childhood, and a willingness to manage rare and complex conditions with the support of our team in Chapel Hill.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to children with neurologic disorders
  • Develop and perform clinical activities in surrounding outreach locations in Southeastern NC
  • Supervise APPs in outpatient clinic and perform outpatient sleep clinics
  • Participate in medical education and contribute to academic scholarship
Requirements

The successful candidate must be board certified/eligible in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology and additional training in either sleep medicine or epilepsy. Expertise in interpreting EEGs is required, as well as experience in managing high prevalence neurologic conditions in childhood.
